What is HTML? HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language. It simply means web document. If you use email services such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, etc., then you are HTML-compatible. If you use Microsoft Outlook or other non-web based applications, you may need to turn on the HTML feature. What do you mean by encoded email address? In our standard service, your email address is embedded in the email sent to your recipient. Although it is not visible to the recipient, it is there buried in the code. Our premium service has the feature that encodes your email address so it won't be included in your outgoing email. Why didn't I receive any nudgeback notifications after I've set it up? Make sure you have entered the correct email address. You might also want to check your spam folder. Why do I receive two test nudgeback notifications? Our service generates one test nudgeback message but some email services such as Gmail triggers a nudgeback at the time you paste the image tag in their email editor. You can consider all nudgeback notifications you received, prior to sending your email, tests. Delete them so they won't be confused with the actual nudgeback that might be coming in. Why don't I receive another nudgeback when the recipient opens the email the 2nd time? A nudgeback is triggered when the image tag is loaded. So if the recipient's email service uses cache, the image tag may not be loaded again. Why don't I continue to receive nudgebacks long after the initial email? It could be that your recipient reviews the email again on a later date. Or you recipient forwarded your email to another person. Does your service work on Craigslist? Yes, but the process is a bit involved. Contact us for special instructions. Does your service store my email message? No. Our service simply adds an image tag to your email message. Your email does not actually go through our service. When will your premium service be available? Our standard service is currently in beta testing. We are hoping to incorporate what we've learned in the beta test into the premium service. No date has been set but please help us speed up the process by providing feedback on our standard service. |
